Tough Enough To Wear Pink

Are YOU Tough Enough to Wear Pink?

Tough Enough to Wear Pink was created in 2004 by cancer survivor Terry Wheatley, matriarch of a professional rodeo family and Karl Stressman, former director of special events for Wrangler and now Commissioner, of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA). Wrangler is the title sponsor of TETWP and the idea has always been to raise money and awareness for breast cancer by inspiring rodeo competitors and fans to wear pink.

Our Whatcom County TETWP committee is involved in several events throughout the year and 100% of all proceeds raised, go directly to our local Bellingham Peace Health Cancer Center! Cancer doesn’t discriminate and neither does our donation money which is why all donations go towards any type of cancer.

Each year look for us in the Lynden Farmers Day Parade, stop by our Tough Enough to Wear Pink booth at the NW WA Fair, or join us at our annual dinner auction. For more information on any of our events you may contact the Fair office or look us up on our Facebook page: Tough Enough to Wear Pink - Lynden PRCA Rodeo.

  • We are the biggest contributor to Peace Health other than their own foundations
  • We donate to any and all types of cancer
  • We are associated with the PRCA
  • All money we raise, stays local - 100%
