First Time Exhibitor FAQs

$5.00 per animal- Beef Cattle & Dairy Cattle

$15.00 per Horse

Paying entry fee will earn you 1 season pass

No fee for any other classes

Please Note:

4-H & FFA Exhibitors entering 5 or more Dairy or Beef animals will need to email to request an appointment for their entry. This is required in order to bypass the calculation done online and only be charged for entering 4 animals ($20 for 4-H Dairy / $20 for 4-H Beef). We will respond to your email request within 24 hours and take your credit card payment (Visa / MasterCard) at that time.


Parents of 4-H & FFA Season Pass $35

4-H & FFA Youth Helpers - $15.00 for a 4-H/FFA Pass

4-H Leaders & FFA Advisors will receive (1) Complimentary 4-H/FFA Season Pass


ENTRY FEE $12.00 Beef, Dairy, Horse (must pay online)

No Entry Fee for poultry or rabbits

All entries for Open, 4H & FFA will be made using the same ShoWorks entry link and must be completed online.

All entries requiring payment must pay online or at time of entry appointment if entering 5 or more 4H Dairy or 4H Beef. All entries must be registered online. If you don’t have access to a computer, the library is an option or the Fair Office has a computer available during business hours.


PARKING: FREE PARKING is available fair week in downtown Lynden by using the free fair shuttle that runs from designated parking lots to the fairgrounds every 12 minutes.

HOURS: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Northwest Washington Fair makes no warranty as to parking availability or cost. The Carnival is open until 11 PM.

PETS: Pets are not allowed on the fairgrounds. The only exceptions are service animals and 4-H show entries. All dogs must be on a leash. Fair management must approve animals on the fairgrounds for commercial, sports or wildlife displays. All clean-up is the responsibility of the owner.

SOLICITATIONS: The Northwest Washington Fairgrounds is private property. Begging or soliciting is STRICTLY prohibited. No roving vendor or soliciting act from a profit, nonprofit, religious, or other organization, or on its behalf, shall be permitted on the fairgrounds. All solicitations for either contributions or sale must be made from within the confines of a booth or display area that has been leased from the Northwest Washington Fair. No person shall be permitted to distribute advertising matter, handbills, flyers, tokens, or other matter upon the fairgrounds except from their leased exhibit booth or display space. Anyone violating this rule is subject to removal from the fairgrounds.
