For 4H and FFA

Beef, Dairy, Sheep, Goats, Horses, Llama/Alpaca, and Swine http://nwwafair4h.fairwire.com/

All other entries: http://nwwafair.fairwire.com/ This includes all other 4H and FFA departments.

All 4H and FFA exhibitor will need to register on both pages if they are also entering in Open class Beef, Dairy or Horses. They will need to enter their names exactly the same. No exhibitor will be allowed 2 exhibitor numbers.

All entries must be registered online. This will be required for all exhibits and exhibitors that are entered into the fair. If you don’t have access to a computer, then the library is your best option. There will also be a computer available for use at the fair office during normal business hours.

Exhibits can be entered on-line by July 25th. Late entries will be charged a fee of $25.00 per head through July 31st. After July 31st late entries may not be accepted.

Haul in: All exhibits must be in place by 9 a.m. Monday of the fair.

Release: Saturday 9 p.m. after the fair. All swine must be removed from the fairgrounds by 10 a.m. Sunday after the fair.

Vet Checks will be on Monday from 6:30-8:30 a.m.

11 a.m. 4-H Livestock Judging
3 p.m. 4-H Round Robin Competition, Awards Presentation follows

  • Entries can be placed on-line or forms are due in the fair office by July 25th. If July 25th falls on a weekend, entries will be accepted in the fair office on the following Monday without penalty. Late entries will be charged a fee of $25.00 per head through July 31st . After July 31st entries might not be accepted.
  • Animals will be shown by breed.
  • Limited to seven animals per exhibitor, not limited to one entry per lot. In case of shortage in stall space, 4-H members with the most entries will be cut first.
  • Animals shown in market classes will not be elligible for show in breeding classes.
  • Ownership must be established or contract written and dated by June 1st and included in record book.
  • Must show in Fitting and Showing in order to show in Type.
  • All swine must be removed from the fairgrounds by 10 a.m. on Sunday after the fair.

DIVISION J - CLUB HERDSMANSHIP
To be entered by Club Leader ONLY

JUDGING: Will be done on a club basis three times a day. Each club shall consist of not less than five animals. Awards will be handed out on Saturday afternoon. Will be based on condition of animals, cleanliness, attentiveness of exhibitors, arrangement of club, stall, and educational decorations.

The Swine Quiz Bowl will be Friday at 10 a.m. in the swine arena. Form a team of 4 from your club or another club. This is available to all 4H club members. Sign up on the poster board in the 4H swine area. Prizes are sponsored by EPL.
