For 4H and FFA

All 4H and FFA exhibitor will need to register on both pages if they are also entering in Open class Beef, Dairy or Horses. They will need to enter their names exactly the same. No exhibitor will be allowed 2 exhibitor numbers.

All entries must be registered online. This will be required for all exhibits and exhibitors that are entered into the fair. If you don’t have access to a computer, then the library is your best option. There will also be a computer available for use at the fair office during normal business hours.
Exhibits can be entered on-line by July 25th. Late entries will be charged a fee of $25.00 per head through July 31st. After July 31st late entries may not be accepted.
Haul in: Sunday prior to the Fair after 4 p.m. All exhibits in this department must be in place by 9 a.m. Monday of the fair.
Vet Checks are on Sunday from 4-8 p.m. and Monday 7-9 a.m.
Release: 9: 45 p.m. Saturday of the fair. The trailer staging is now in gate 8, please note there is no street parking on Kok Road.
NEW for 2018- For all 4-H and FFA Exhibitors in
departments Beef, Dairy, and Horses there will be a one-time entry fee of $15.
With this entry fee, each exhibitor will be able to enter as many animals as
they would like in any 4-H and FFA Class in those listed departments. Limits
will still apply in each department. With the entry fee, each exhibitor will
receive a 4H/FFA Season Gate Admission that will allow daily entrance to the
Fair. If a 4H or FFA exhibitor would also like to enter their animal(s) into
Open Class Exhibits then they will need to also pay the Open Class entry fees
for that department.

ENTRIES ARE DUE THE FIRST TUESDAY OF JULY BY 5 p.m. TO THE SHOW COMMITTEE. Entries can be placed on-line or forms are due in the fair office by July 25th. If July 25th falls on a weekend, entries will be accepted in the fair office on the following Monday without penalty. Late entries will be charged a fee of $25.00 per head through July 31st. After July 31st late entries might not be accepted.
- Members may use only project horses.
- Horses will remain on the fairgrounds for the entire Fair.
- 4-H members must enter Showmanship and choose at least 3 lots. You will be paid only for the 3 highest scored lots.
- Champions in each lot, Grand and Reserve Champion in each class. Trophy for high point individual.
- Fair veterinarian must and will reject any animals with an infectious disease or ectoparasites, ringworm, warts, pink eye, strangles, contagious ecthyma, scabies, lice, mites, ticks, fleas, and all respiratory diseases. All horses will be inspected before entering the barn.
- Medications may be given only with permission of the Superintendent and under the care of a veterinarian. Name and reason for medication must be turned into Superintendent in writing. No performance altering medications are allowed.
- Absolutely no horse will be clipped or bathed on the Fairgrounds. This is to be done prior to arrival.
- 4-H horses will be kept in 4-H section only. No 4-H horse will be allowed in open stalls. No horse may be shown by more than one exhibitor. 4-H members may exhibit only one horse at the Fair.
- Saturday night after 9 p.m., each exhibitor must clean their own stalls to the floor. This includes removing all duct tape, etc. that you have used in your stall area. Absolutely no decorations may be removed before 9:30 p.m.
- Removing hay or grain furnished by the Fair or local businesses is not allowed.
- Superintendent has the right to accept or refuse any entry.

To be entered by CLUB LEADERS ONLY. Judging will be done on a club basis. Each club shall consist of not less than four animals. Scoring will be done according to the score sheet in the 4-H Horse Project Guide.
