Barrel Racing will be taking a break for the 2026–2027 winter season. Please read the following update from Jason and Leslie.
"After 12 great years of hosting winter barrel races at the NWWA Fair, we’ve decided to take a break from our scheduled series for the 2026–2027 winter season. When we started the series, our goal was to give barrel racers a place to ride and compete during the winter months. It’s been great to see the sport grow and so many more opportunities become available. We encourage everyone to support Broken Wagon Productions and Collyn Holtcamp, who will be producing a winter series in the Pape Arena this year.
Thank you to everyone who has supported our races over the years! And while we won’t have a scheduled series this winter, you never know—we may sneak in a pop-up race or two in 2027.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for 12 amazing years. We wish every one of you the very best as you continue chasing those dreams—one run at a time. We’ll see you around the arena!"
