You'll get "Nothing But a Good Time" when former Poison front man Bret Michaels tears up the stage as part of the 2018 Bank of the Pacific Grandstand Entertainment Series. He's also known for "Every Rose Has Its Thorn," "Something to Believe In," "Unskinny Bop," and "Talk Dirty to Me."
Michaels, a multiplatinum global superstar, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 16. Grandstand seats will be only $5, courtesy of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 191, and preferred seats are available for $30. The show tickets don’t include gate admission for the Fair, which is required. VIP packages are sold out.
Led by Michaels, Poison became one of the top glam metal bands in the 1980s and ’90s. He then launched a successful solo career and became a multimedia star.
Michaels, personally and through his Life Rocks Foundation, has helped raise tens of millions of dollars for charity. Having been diagnosed with Type I diabetes at the age of 6, he is passionately devoted to raise awareness of the debilitating disease in hopes of finding a cure.
