Photo - Clown John Beck John Beck will be Clown and Barrelman at the 2010 Lynden PRCA Rodeo. He grew up in Sandy, Utah and has always had a strong passion for the sport of rodeo. He loves to put a smile on people's faces. At age eight John began working with professional rodeo clowns and worked his way up to being a PRCA clown and barrelman. John attributes his success to being taught by such clowns and bullfighters as Kevin Higley, Lecile Harris, Bert Davis, Loyd Ketchum, Doony Sparks, and Jerry Hurst. John resides in West Jordan, Utah with his wife, Melissa. John has been a PRCA member since 2003 and was named the Dodge Circuit Finals barrelman in 2007. He has performed at the Utah State Fair in Salt Lake City; Oakdale, Calif. Saddle Club Rodeo; Spokane County Interstate Fair and Rodeo; Gerry, New York, Volunteer Fire Department Rodeo; and the Steamboat Springs ProRodeo Series in Colorado three times. John started clowning rodeos on his own at age thirteen. He continued to work over 50 amateur rodeo performances a year for the next five years. John's other occupation is excavating, and his interests are horses, fishing, TV"s "Ice Road Truckers", four wheeling, and CAT machinery.
