OPEN (4-H & FFA MAY ENTER AND WILL BE JUDGED DANISH SYSTEM)

  1. All entries are to be the work of the exhibitor. Superintendent has the right to accept or refuse any entry.
  2. Entries can be placed on-line through August 6th. All entries will be accepted between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. Friday before the fair. On-line entries must still be brought in on days and times listed above.
  3. Exhibits must be picked up Saturday from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. or Sunday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. On Monday the buildings remain open for cleaning and there is NO Security available.
  4. No entry fees will be required and no free admission will be issued.
  5. Any wool item completed since August 2009 and not previously shown at the Northwest WA Fair is eligible. No kit items. All articles entered must be handcrafted - acceptable methods are weaving, knitting, crochet, felt, and other fiber processes.
  6. Natural fiber yarn other than wool may be used, if suitable and appropriate for the project (e.g. Mohair).
  7. All entries will be Judged and Exhibited. Emphasis will be on quality, originality, design, intended functions, and in the case of garments-drape and wearability.
  8. Include hanger or other suitable method of displaying with your entry.
  9. One entry per lot. Some items can be put into a different acceptable lot if determined by the Superintendent.
  10. Limit of 12 entries per person depending on space availabilty.

DO NOT TIE FLEECE. ROLL FLEECE AND PLACE IN LARGE CLEAR PLASTIC BAG.
MUST BE SHORN DURING CURRENT SHEARING SEASON. Identify breed.

A Best of Class will be awarded in each Division for Lots 1-3 and 4-6.
