HAUL IN - All animals must be brought to the Rabbit Barn and be Vet Checked between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Sunday before the fair.

RELEASE - Animals will be released Saturday of the fair after 9 p.m. Carryout only – no vehicles on the grounds. Remaining stock will be released Sunday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Open and 4-H Rabbit Type

Entries can be made on-line or in the office by July 25th. If the 25th falls on a weekend, entries will be accepted the following Monday.
Later entries will be charged a $25.00 late fee per head through July 31st. After the July 31st entries might not be accepted.

  1. Entries must be owned by the exhibitor for at least 30 days prior to the fair. No substitutions are allowed.
  2. All rabbits entered must be at least 10 weeks of age, except the fryer classes.
  3. All rabbits exhibited must have a permanent ear number/tattoo for identification purposes and this number must be recorded on the entry tag. The tattoos can be done at the fair and will be charged $2.00. This money goes into the trophy fund.
  4. Rabbits will be inspected at time of entry and during the fair. Any rabbit found to be carrying an infectious disease or parasite will be removed from the building and the owner notified.
  5. All specimens must be shown in their natural condition and must be bona fide property of the exhibitor. Any found to be otherwise will be disqualified and all fees and prizes forfeited.
  6. Entries may be rejected because of insufficient space.
  7. All rabbits are to be shown by breed as specified in the American Rabbit Breeders Association Standards of Perfection under lot description. Please specify variety in breed description on entry form. No crossbred classes.
  8. The latest edition of the American Rabbit Breeders Association Standards of Perfection will be the guide for the judge, and   their decision shall be final.
  9. No judge shall exhibit in any class in which they are judging.
  10. Exhibitors attempting to interfere with or influence the judge shall have their stock disqualified.
  11. Absolutely no handling of stock will be allowed except what is necessary by the show officials or the owner.
  12. A card or sticker stating the award won will be attached to each winning coop after the judging.
  13. All stock entered and shown at the risk of the owner. The Fair Association will not be responsible for loss by fire, theft, or otherwise, but will exercise all reasonable care of exhibits and police the showroom.
  14. Same rabbit may be entered in type and fur classes. All rabbits entered in fur class must also be entered in type class.
  15. Rosettes will be awarded for Best of Show, Best in Division, and Best of Class.
  16. Does with litters will not be accepted.

**NOTE: FOR ON-LINE RABBIT ENTRIES,  PLEASE BE SURE TO INCLUDE THE TYPE, BREED, AND  COLOR IN THE DESCRIPTIVE SECTION. INCLUDE AS MUCH IDENTIFYING INFORMATION AS POSSIBLE.
