HAUL IN - All early entries will be accepted the Sunday before the Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. only. Bring late entries Monday before 9 a.m.

Vet Checks will be on Sunday from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. and on Monday from 7:30-9:00 a.m.

RELEASE - Animals will be released Saturday of the Fair after 9 p.m. Carry outs only – no vehicles on the grounds. Remaining stock will be released Sunday between 10 a.m. and noon.

SHOWTIMES - American Poultry Association and American Bantam Association sanctioned shows with APA and ABA sanctioned judge.

  1. Entries can be entered on-line or in the office by July 25th. If July 25th falls on a weekend, entries will be accepted the following Monday. Later entries will charged a late fee of $25.00 per head through July 31st. After July 31st entries may not be accepted. Incorrect and incomplete entries will not be accepted.
  2. The latest edition of the American Standard of Perfection will be the guide for the judge and his/her decision shall be final.
  3. The Fair Association reserves the right to put more than one specimen in a coop, providing the birds belong to the same exhibitor.
  4. The judge will not award a first on any specimen unless it is worthy of a premium.
  5. The management shall have the right to refuse entry to the show barn or to remove from the same, all diseased or unsightly birds and the Superintendent is expected to avail himself of this right.
  6. All exhibits will be fed and cared for by the Superintendent. Due diligence will be shown against fire, theft, or injury, but the Fair Association will not be liable for damage or loss.
  7. The Fair Association reserves the right to limit the entries when the entries received exceed the accommodation, or 1 bird per lot, per exhibitor.
  8. All eggs laid during the show will become the property of the Fair Association and fertility destroyed.
  9. It is suggested the birds be leg-banded for identification purposes.
  10. A display is one cock, one cockerel, one hen, one pullet, and one trio (either young or old), all one breed or variety by one exhibitor. A pen is 3 birds.
  11. A cock and two hens will constitute an old trio, and a cockerel and two pullets a young trio. Cockerels and pullets are birds hatched after September 1 of previous year, cock and hens will be all birds hatched prior to September 1 of the preceding year. All birds to be a minimum of 5 months old.
  12. Cancellations or no shows should be made 4 days prior to the fair with the Superintendent.
  13. Exhibitors cannot show the same birds in Open Class and 4-H / FFA.

**NOTE: REQUIRED FOR POULTRY ENTRIES:  PLEASE BE SURE TO INCLUDE THE TYPE, BREED AND  COLOR IN THE DESCRIPTIVE SECTION. INCLUDE AS MUCH IDENTIFYING INFORMATION AS POSSIBLE.

TYPE - Single Comb, Rose Comb, etc.
BREED - Plymouth Rock, Polish, etc.
COLOR - Golden Lace, Silver Lace, white with silver, etc
