HAUL IN
All exhibits in this department must be in place by 9 a.m. Monday opening day of the fair.
Vet Checks will be Sunday from 10 a.m.-3:00 p.m. and Monday 7:30-9:00 a.m.
RELEASE
Animals will be released after 9 p.m. Saturday of the fair. Carry outs only – no vehicles on grounds. Remaining stock will be released Sunday between 10 a.m. and noon.
SHOWTIMES
Monday: Fitting and Showing - 3 p.m.
Tuesday: 4H, FFA and open type - 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Wednesday: Judge's Corner - 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Rooster Crowing Contest - 1 p.m. *sign up in Poultry Barn
Thursday: Best Dressed Poultry Contest - 3 p.m. *sign up in Poultry Barn
Friday: Chicken Races - 3 p.m. *sign up in Poultry Barn
Entries can be placed on-line or forms are due in the Fair office by July 25th. If July 25th falls on a weekend, entries will be accepted in the fair office on the following Monday without penalty. Late entries will be charged a fee of $25.00 per head through July 31st. After July 31st late entries may not be accepted. Incorrect entries will not be accepted.
- The management shall have the right to refuse entry to the showroom or to remove from the same, all diseased or unsightly birds and the Superintendent is expected to avail himself of this right.
- For additional rules, see Open Class Poultry, Department R.
- Must show in Fitting and Showing in order to show in Type, or to receive premiums in Poultry.
- Class C – only 3 birds per entry per exhibitor.
**NOTE: FOR ON-LINE POULTRY ENTRIES, PLEASE BE SURE TO INCLUDE THE TYPE, BREED AND COLOR IN THE DESCRIPTIVE SECTION. INCLUDE AS MUCH IDENTIFYING INFORMATION AS POSSIBLE. IF USING THE PAPER ENTRY FORM BE SURE TO FILL IN THE TYPE, BREED, AND COLOR COLUMNS.**
