- Original paintings and drawings completed in the past two years and not previously shown at the Northwest Washington Fair are eligible. All work must be signed by the artist as stated in #3.
- Entries must be suitably framed and equipped with screw eyes and wire for hanging. No saw-tooth hangers. All paint and varnish must be dry. Watercolors and drawings must be under glass. Computerized work will not be accepted.
- All work must have the artist's name printed with black ink on a white label. Label must be placed in front bottom right corner of entry. Size of label not to exceed 1/4" height x 2.5" width. Text size 10 point or 1/8" in height. Please use your judgement as to which adhesion process you prefer so as not to damage your work upon label removal.
- The department reserves the right to reclassify entries deemed improperly classified, select and eliminate work to be exhibited, and reject work for any reason such as size, fragility, inappropriateness to the fair, or infringement of rules.
- Exhibitors may make one entry only.
- No entry fees are required and no free admission will be issued to the exhibitor.
- Entries will be received in the Art building from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday before the fair only.On-line entries still require you to bring your item in at the listed times. On-line entries do not guarantee a spot if the space is full when you arrive.
- Entries must be picked up Sunday following the fair between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. After Sunday release time Security is no longer available. On Monday the buildings remain open for cleaning.
- The judge will be an artist or teacher or critic of established reputation in the field of art. Judging will be Friday at 1:00 p.m.
- No art work shall be advertised or priced for sale.
