Entries can be placed on-line by August 7th, or see rule #1 below.
1. Entries will be received Friday preceding the Fair in the Art Department between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.
2. Original prints produced with the last 12 months and not previously shown at the Northwest
Washington Fair are eligible.
3. All work must have the artist's name printed with black ink on a white label. Label must be placed
in front bottom right corner of entry. Size of label not to exceed 1/4" height x 2.5" width. Text size
10 point or 1/8" in height. Please use your judgement as to which adhesion process you prefer so
as not to damage your work upon label removal.
4. The Superintendent has the right to accept or refuse any entry.
5 No frames, glass plastic wrap etc. All photos must be matted with standard mat board. (No cardboard, foam core, etc.).
6. Two sizes only; total outside dimensions, either 8x10 or 11x14.
7. Limited to one entry per exhibitor.
8. General rules of the Fair are to be observed. No entry fee will be charged.
9. The judge will be an artist, teacher, or critic of established reputation in the field of photography.
10. Photography entries will be released Sunday after the Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
11. It is the responsibility of the artist to inform the department if the photograph has been digitally altered (computerized: digitally altered other than resizing and resolution).
12. No work shall be advertised or priced for sale.
13. Judging will take place Saturday before the Fair at noon. The Photography Dept. is closed to the public during judging.
